More than a ride
Lift Legacy offers free rides to people selected at random on the streets of Addis Ababa. In a city where public transport can be crowded and unpredictable, a simple lift becomes a moment of relief—and an unexpected human connection.

A community-driven initiative
The ongoing goal is to give 1,000 people a ride. Every passenger brings a different story. Abduselam photographs the encounters and asks participants to sign a notebook, creating a lasting record of the people who made the project possible.

A ripple effect
Inside the car, strangers exchange ideas and experiences. The project becomes a platform for listening and a reminder that ordinary generosity can travel outward, encouraging more acts of care across the city.
